Soles de Mexicali and the National Professional Basketball League (LNBP) unveil their 2026 schedule with adjustments due to the FIFA World Cup. The women's season will run from March 12 to May 30.
What's changing in the schedule?
The LNBP has decided to halt activity during the World Cup to avoid inflation in services. LNBP President Sergio Ganem explained that hotels and flights become three to four times more expensive during the World Cup.

Which teams will participate in the 2026 LNBP?
A total of 14 teams will participate in the men's division of the LNBP and eight in the women's division. The novelty is the return of Lobos Plateados de Puebla in the men's division. Halcones de Xalapa will not participate in this season.
